4- Count the teeth on each gear for the mainshaft and counter shaft and divide (ex: 2.1176, 1.5789)

Now divide the ratio totals from lines #4 by the total from line #3

c- Ratio #3 ________ divided by total from #3 _________ =_________3rd final ratio

d- Ratio #4 ________ divided by total from #3 _________=__________4th final ratio ( 1 to 1)

1965 M20 Example - 1st - 36-17 = 2.1176, 2nd - 30-19 = 1.5789, 3rd - 27-22 = 1.2272
Then divide by the pilot / reduction gear ratio of .82758 by the countershaft ratios
(1st gear - 2.117 divided by .8275 = 2.558) (2nd gear - 1.578 divided by .8275 = 1.9079)
(3rd gear - 1.227 divided by .8275 =1.4829) (4th gear 1-1)
